Civic Webware is an information technology firm that develops Web-based tools and resources for community development departments and consulting firms. The products we offer help community planners and design professionals work more efficiently and communicate more effectively with the constituents they serve.

timTim Schwecke manages business operations, product design and development, and customer relations. He has a demonstrated ability to create core concepts, develop relationships, and move ideas from inception to successful completion.

During his career in community planning that spans more than 20 years, Mr. Schwecke has been involved in a wide variety of projects and specializes in land-use regulations and community plans.  He has a B.S. from the University of Montana and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

carolynCarolyn Esswein is an urban designer, community planner, and educator, bringing over 20 years of experience to Civic Webware. She is involved in many leadership roles and focuses on marketing initiatives and developing strategic partnerships.

She is also the Principal and owner of Ce Planning Studio, a faculty member in the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and the Director of Community Design Solutions at UWM.   She holds a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Masters in Architecture and a Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
